Another day below freezing before a mid-week warmup in Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS) — One more day below freezing ahead of a brief, mid-week warm-up. 
A relatively quiet day is ahead on Tuesday with highs closer to freezing underneath a partly cloudy sky. 
After five consecutive days below freezing, warming winds will pick up Wednesday, sending highs near 40 degrees. 
There is a chance for area-wide gusty snow showers as a strong front arrives. Strong winds and falling temperatures from Wednesday night into Thursday morning. 
Wind chill values range from -5 to -15 degrees for Thursday. A warming trend takes off for the weekend. 
Highs reach the mid 40s by Sunday.
