WW1 CEF Silver War Medal to Joseph Thomas Oscar Gingras, who was born in Quebec P.Q.. and was attested for service at
Valcartier P.Q.
in
Sep
1914. As noted by his service number and enlistment date he was one of very first to enter the Great War. Impressed along edge 4862 GNR. J.T.C. GINGRAS R.C.H.A.  With a piece of WW1 issue ribbon. Medal in very good condition,
a copy of his Attestation paper as found on archives.ca/cef site included
