VINTAGE 1949 Singer Featherweight Sewing Machine 221 With Case #AJ114919
This
came from a estate sale. It needs a bobbin case. There is no key and there is no bobbin case. The latches on the case work and the case has some wear from age and use(mainly on the inside). A pedal holder has been added to the inside top. There is no top section with it that goes over the machine on the inside.  It is a Singer featherweight 221. Serial no. AJ114919.  It is dated to the 1949. On the bottom of the machine, it was replaced by a screw.  There is a piece of tape on the machine. It is in
running
condition and it runs good(but I could not test the stitching, there is no bobbin case), the pedal is in working order too. There is scratches, wear from age. The foot control does have pieces  of black tape on the wire. (see all pictures). The machine has not cleaned, as always make sure to oil upon receiving.  What is in the pictures is included: one bobbin.
