This auction is for a great vintage, if not antique mute for brass instrument ~ perfect for collectors and decorators!  This and other items we now have listed have been purchased at recent rural Kansas estate auctions. This listing:

this mute is marked Genuine Harmon Mute the only  Wow Wow sound
it stands approximately 8 inches tall and is approximately 7 inches in diameter at widest point
someone has written SKID in red on this piece
band of cork around the top edge
made of aluminum or other metal
some dents
dusty due to years of storage
estate sale find
I am guessing that it dates to the 1950s or 60s
estate find
color shade is accurate on my monitor
