    You are bidding on a WWI Canadian 8th Mounted Rifle Regt / Bn Cap Badge. The badge is used and is in good condition with limited signs of wear or age. The backside is unmarked and has a slider fastener. The Regt was organized in November 1914 and mobilized in

    . The regt departed
    Canada
    from
    Montreal
    on
    9 October 1915 aboard the HMS Missanabie and arrived in
    England
    on 18 October 1915, and was broken up and absorbed by
    various Canadian Mounted Rifles units, as well as the Canadian
